Something tells me Ill. Hiway Patrol will be watching this area, very very closely.
Been awhile sinc ei have been in that area, what is the construction speed limit set at? I know some areas they will drop it to 45 mph -
Speed limit in the zones is 55 and drops to 45 right where the construction is going on, or, if they are paving, someone flags you slower while you pass what they really want is for you to get well clear of operations by going wide on the berm.
I go west more than east, but I went east early Thursday morning, it is nothing remarkable other than heavier traffic with more cars and trucks pushing the limit than say, farther west on 80. -
Let me guess - it's the construction speed limit violation cameras causing motorists to crash due to hypersensitivity to increased government technological instrusivity.
Taildragon Thanks this. -
Last Friday when I left the TA and as soon as I meged on I got maybe a mile and there was a accident. A tanker rear ended a flat bed who rear ended another flat bed. As soon as we got past that a car came flying down the right lane that was ending and tried to cut in front a car and rear ended a car in front of the car they cut off. :smt011
