Well, I DON'T think it's funny, you aren't supposed to run over anything, except the road. It is quite unusual, when the tire person says they've seen it all, take their word for it. I still don't see how it got to that point, usually just drags the wheel, but must have been shaped just right. No harm done, and I voted for a goof up, but I know for a fact, my old union job would consider that a chargeable offense. PLEASE, watch that right mirror, eh? BTW, I'd carry a chain and find a pole for just such occasions, although, I don't know if that would just pop out, in there pretty good. I say "atta,,person" too..

Steering wheel holders dragging their trailer through others landscaping. “Truck drivers” have to be some of the most inconsiderate, destructive people out there.

The answer to what it qualifies as is determined by who important seen it or knows about it.

I had a rule less than a grand to fix it was considered a win or a goof no matter what they hit.

My company called it a goof up, since it didn’t require DOT, or a tow away and didn’t cost very much money wise.

There are some bad ones out there for sure, this is the first (and hopefully only) rock hit for me in 26yrs being out here. I’ve had to put my truck and trailer into some places that a truck and trailer don’t belong.

Like I said earlier, I made that turn 100 times and on the 101st, yeah. I guess it was my turn. The Hardee’s truck has actually done that 6 times in the last two years. So one time for me, isn’t so bad.

Some time long ago the property owner had a landscape crew bring out a boulder to put next to the entrance, not for looks, but to keep trailers from running thru the grass and caving in an underground sprinkler system (if applicable). After the boulder was strategically placed the property owner and landscape foreman were both able to sleep everynight knowing the grass was safe from harm. Until………
