Accident... What to do next???

    Their adjuster is waiting for estimate from the dealer so they can start the repairs. She of course wanted me to rent another truck, which is understandable, but because my unit was a custom setup, it is not possible to rent it for 3 weeks. She offered for me to send my schedule C, but because I opened the company last year, that calculation will not be accurate. So now I will calculate my profit for the last 3 months and send all the proof with receipts, bank statements, dispatch sheets. Will see what happens

    That's why I'm of the belief that you need to do what you need to do to keep working...even if that means digging into your own pocket or maxing out a few credit cards to make it happen...and then go after them for reinbursements. Interest included, as the credit cards are charging you interest. Legal fees, too if it comes to that. When they see that you aren't budging and the longer they delay the bigger the check they will have to write, they'll be happy to make you go away. Meanwhile, you're back at work letting your insanely expensive lawyer (remember, legal fees are added onto the settlement as part of your costs) do the leg work so that you both can get paid.
