I had a car accident in my POV not too long ago. I had my CLP at the time, handed it to the officer when he arrived. He deemed it my fault and I received a citation of FTY at a stop sign. I have told my company, they said it would be handled at the year review. I gained my CDL after the incident. My question is; how does this affect my license? Could I possibly be blackballed from driving already?

You're not blackballed.
If you're fired, let us know and we'll get you rolling with another company.
Which company are you with now? -
Currently just working for Lowe's as a back- up cdl driver while the company helped me get my license. Honestly the hr doesn't seem to serious into looking into it (especially since 2 drivers just ripped two boxes off 2 separate box trucks) I just didn't want anything to prevent me from moving forward with other companies

Don't worry, your trucking career is safe.

Ironically its not a problem in anything other than a Commerical Motor Vehicle with whomever company employed you.
You are pretty safe. If anyone was ###### from the point of view of points and tickets stacked when I held the early Class A license before the CDL days it would be me. And Companies still employed me in those days. It wont happen today thats for sure.Driver002 Thanks this.
