I agree with everything you said except the "idiot" part. It does not make someone an idiot to do, or to recommend someone do, the best thing in their situation. Sounds to me like every situation you've been in with a lawyer hasn't went well for you. I'm sorry for that. But find a different lawyer. They are NOT all like the ones you described. Some things you simply can not handle on your own. If people are coming after you and everything you own with lawyers, you need to go back after them the same way. You are simply wrong to call people names because you don't agree with them. Pretty pretentious and thoroughly uncalled for. Have a good day.

Lawyer up and keep your mouth shut. Do not say one more word about this to anyone but a lawyer, especially here. Lawyers will take anything you say here and use it aganist you. Shut up now and lawyer up. Not trying to be rude, but it is in your best interest.

Kind of funny how everyone (or every company) pays for insurance, yet on every one of these threads it gets completely ignored. Why bother having insurance in the first place lol.

One of my companies had insurance when I took a car out in DC once. The insurance was sued along with myself and company etc.

In battle, I wrote to the judge presiding over the suit saying essentially that the Insurance should settle with the lady and get her into another car. Or fix it until whole. Ive already taken some hits that put me out of earning income to pay anything and the company has their own problems.

Lo and behold, judge dismissed me, dismissed the company and brought insurance forward to settle as the policy was in effect. End of problem.

A piece of advice that worked for me when an insurance company was giving me the run around....mention the words insurance fraud and Insurance Commission in the state this is happening. This advice was given to me by my insurance man and look and behold....two days later I had a check in hand.
