yesterday we saw the after effects of a horrible accident on I 70 in indiana. This one has stuck in my head since i saw it.First the good part of it,to the truck driver who was there holding a fellow truck drivers hand before he passed away,God Bless you for being there for him..Now for the bad part-for the truck driver who did nothing but complain how he had to sit in traffic your a idiot and one cold hearted SOB.

you were so worried about how you had to sit in traffic and a fellow truck driver passes away and not to mention the truck driver who was holding his hand at the time,or this mans family who had to get this awful phone call...

Im sorry but I had to get this off my chest, just hearing the truck driver on the CB who was there for the other driver really broke my heart hearing it in his voice,God Bless you sir for being there.

    I couldn't agree more.

I get so tired of these so-called "experienced" drivers moan and whine and pitch a fit whenever they have to slow down for ANY reason, let alone an accident.

    Spoiled rotten brats.

And blessings to the driver who comforted a fellow driver.

In the last three days, I've seen one off the right side of the road, facing the wrong way and on it's side in Louisiana, another flipped over in a rest area in TN when it couldn't make the turn into the truck area (that one was today), and one other one in....shoot...I think it was TX....

About a week and a half ago, while driving thru the mountains in western MD i saw the effects of this terrible accident. A swift truck was parked or broken down on the side of the road, facing downhill. Were it not for the emergency vehicles surrounding the truck, I would never guess that there was a car wedged so far under the trailer tandems, that it was barely visible from my vantage.

Its very doubtful anyone survived that wreck.

This goes to show you, NEVER park on the side of the road!

If swift was truly on the side, I'd say it goes to show you to drive in your lane /shrug. I'll never ##### and moan about sitting in traffic and have sympathy for those who have to survive the ones lost, but have no sympathy for the cause in those instances that are painfully obvious it was sheer stupidity. I can only hope that noone felt sorry for me when I rear ended a snowplow........

I see it all the time, drivers sitting in the emergency lane with no flashers and no triangles. Never stop in the break down lane to read a map, call or piss. If broke down, put 4 ways on and put out your triangles. And another thing, don't drive 25 mph on the interstate if you got a mechanical problem. In that case, get in the break down lane and "cripple" onto the next off ramp. If your stopped in the interstate due to slowing traffic , put the 4 ways on if you are at the back of the pack. A driver was killed last week in arizona on the 40 east of flagstaff wwhen he rear ended a cattle truck that was stopped in the interstate due to an earlier accident. Unknown if the cattle truck had his 4 ways on.

I wa son the Bay Bridge e of Annapolis last Mon. and a Corvette supposedly plowed into the rear of a Tanker, knocked the rear tandems out from the trlr. I ahd just crossed and met 2 cops and 4 fire engines, I wondered aloud where they were headed and someone told me.
