Face your accusers in court? HA!
Apparently you have never had an encounter with a Zoning Officer.
    "We had a complaint."
Had a hearing at a Magistrate.
Told to my face by said Magistrate that township does not have to reveal the identity of rat?
Did a cleanup policing action.Took before and after pictures, Place looked like a new Township park.
    Found guilty??
Took it on appeal to county seat, and won in front of President Judge,
as My lawyer pointed out the wording of ordinance says "In plain view."
My place is 150 Ft. off the road, and fence is on top of a 10 ft. drop-off.
If I'm not raising giraffes, you can't see anything from the road.
Cost me $10,000 to defend from an "Anonymous" complaint.
Found out later the Zoning Officer took my "before and after" pix,
and only showed Magistrate the "before." Nice.

Most people don’t buy their local newspaper so few would see the ad.
It’s a shame too, once those small papers close, they’ll never reopen and all the news about the council meetings or the schools or the sports teams or the local gossip will never be known.

And, How about MY President with the tweets, Huh?
Totally did an end run around the complicit Lame Stream Media.
Totally left them on the sidelines and out of the picture going /WTF??
Someone compared that to Roosevelt and his weekly radio "fireside chat" broadcasts.

Facebook, twitter, all those will get your message out for a witness.

Will it work for sure? I dunno, but can't hurt to try. Hell I'd even try Craigslist in the rant/rave section.

People don't like ######## an will snitch on one in a minute if you ain't a copper. ;)

Far as Presidents an tweets....He knows how to troll people.

An that wasn't political. I dislike all of those idiots in DC. Left, right, middle. Bleh.

    Sirscrapntruckalot - Politician is really spelt L E E C H. :)

    PM me.
Failed to mention in original post,
these people are not your friends.
Don't be chummy, try to talk them up.
Answer what was asked - only.
Don't be afraid to keep them off your property.
They can only come in IF you allow them,
then be prepared for them to whip our a camera.

Rule #1 Never say I'm sorry....

name, rank, and serial number. Deal with the PD but keep it concise and polite but otherwise keep your mouth shut unless you want to hear your words, represented in the worst possible way, being trumpeted in a court of law.

#2 Do take pictures, avoid the blood, guts and gore, and don't take 1001 pictures of the same thing.

Get the damage to the other vehicle, show where it landed in relation to yours, get the skid and yawl marks from their tires, include their license plate.

If another trucker get the door sign and dot number; I've had the PD mess up the owner ship and/or leased vehicles come up as owned by someone else and you have no connection to the actual operator.

Take lots of pictures, squat down and get the auto's point of view.

#3 if bystanders are parked, get their license plate numbers you may find that one witness that the PD does not have...
