ACE/ACI manifests

    Just wondering if this is something you participate in, whether you are responsible for the task (or is your dispatch/ace clerk), and if you use the government portals or a private third party service provider.


    ACE is mandatory document to be sent to customs broker/agent a few hours prior to arriving with intent to cross into the US border

    ACI is the Canadian equivelent (US going to Canada) that is not mandatory but eventually will be.

    We (we have a gal in the office) do our own ACE manifests as she also does my customs documents. When ACI comes to fruition I fully expect that she will continue to do that also. She e-mails me all my documents, I print them off and go to the border!
