I would’ve put my money on former Yugoslavian myself (Croatia,Serbian,Bosnian,Macedonian,Montenegrin),maybe even Albanian.

 

Just change it to companies run by people from former Soviet Union or Eastern European or other communist places .

if you work on a 1099 , it’s risky . There’s a reason they use 1099s even when it’s against the IRS regulations .
