Anyone else having trouble with these things cracking? The outer most one on mine will not last more than one month, it is aligned, and neither myself or Cat can figure out why this keeps happening. I am starting to wonder if it because I have a tuned ECM, the boost comes on so fast that I think these rinky dink things cannot handle it.
I am thinking that maybe a piece of a cac boot from maybe a C13 would be the ticket, but not sure if they would hold up that close to a turbo. Any thoughts?

No but I'm having a heck of a time getting the one from the high pressure turbo to the precooler to seal up the use what looks like a exhaust donut. You have any problems with that one and if so advice on getting it to seal??? Are you tightening the to clamps down on the expansion joint / bellows before tightening the clamp at the high pressure turbo???

Oscar I have an audible (under load) leak on the compression side that has me pulling out what is left of my hair. I am getting ready to replace the radiator and CAC, it needs a radiator for sure, but everyone that tests my CAC says its "within spec". I am assuming the CAC is original (everything else has been, 1,080,000 miles).
Anyway, is this the one you are talking about?

If it is, I don't think a boot will take the heat without some kind of heat shield.
I can't see any cracks in mine, but that doesn't mean it's not.

The reason I ask is mine is not even close to being straight, just kinda looks like it would leak. I know I need to replace the upper clamp, someone over tightened it and the little loops on the "T" bolt are spread way out and just barely hanging on. When I replace the clamp I'm going to try and straighten it out a little. Any other ideas where to look? -
I never had any problems with a PDI tune that created over 60 pounds of boost and stock manifold. Is your manifold stock?

Bubba, your pictures are not working. -

Mine looks the same as that also bubba and it still has the factory yellow paint on it and it don't leek. I wouldn't try to straighten it you might do more harm than good.

Also there is another bellow behind that that goes from the top turbo straight down to the per cooler is it leaking back there??
