On a 97 FLD 120 twin screw air bag, is there a simple way to add an air bag dump valve? A mechanical setup would be perfect even if the lever is outside.

If you must know I keep getting stuck by my shop surface a little rough.

Pretty simple fix! Go to freightliner or any truck parts place and buy a dump valve it comes with instructions. Good luck driver

Should be able to use one for a spread axle. Just put it in line before the first bag.

Very easy... I'll see if I can find the pic of my valve.

IMG_9821.PNG This is the valve on my Kenworth, will work on any of them. Notice the bottom line on the right and the top line on the left, are straight across?? Those are going to the airbags. Right side to front axle and left side to rear axle. Bottom line on the left is coming FROM the leveling valve and supplies air to all the bags. The line on the top right comes FROM the cab, when you throw the air operated switch in the cab it pressurizes the top right air line, which allows the bags to exhaust while shutting off the supply from the leveling valve... bottom left air line. Hope this helps. You can install the air switch on the outside of the cab as well. IMG_9822.PNG

This is a normal air switch that can be used.

Any KW dealer should have them, or a truck parts supplier. I installed one on a freind trailer, he got it at a local parts supply house.
