    True, and I'm not attacking the service.

    There is difference, though.

    Was he disabled due to his service?

    Or did he do a hitch, get out, and blow his body out by sitting in a chair and sipping Mountain Dew for 20 years?

    His opening statement conflates the two. One is relevant to a job search. One is bad decision making.

    I was injured on duty. I get 100% medical/disability. Hence why I say I don't need the money. Without going into painful memories, I was in the ICU for 2 weeks and needed 8 surgeries. I have since stabilized and think truck driving would be a good fit. I also have ptsd that makes it hard dealing with confined crowded spaces which rules out many jobs. I mean when there are lots of people around me and I cannot keep track of them or see hidden dangers. It has to do with the nature of my assault that injured me.
