Well sitting in Appleton getting another windshield replaced. Went through Lacrosse, WI yesterday and heat and cold and who knows if something hit the windshield or not but I heard the crack and D/S windshield cracked at the bottom and headed north.
So, unloaded in Springfield, OH on Monday. Headed south to Chillicothe to load a CNG Kenworth on a stepdeck.Yes, on a stepdeck. can't remember exact model, but it was from their T800 class. My height came out to 13' 4", but the other driver who loaded that night came out to 13' 10". The wrecker had to help him take off the stack. Long story on why we loaded these, why there was a wrecker, and why we didn't load at the Kenworth plant (a whole other story there.) Either way nice load that I took to Dodge Center, MN.
Unloaded in Dodge Center on Wednesday morning and picked up in Saint Paul. Headed to Saint Paul Park yard after loading. Arrived with less than 5 minutes left on my 70 hours.
So this load was headed to Columbus, but directed to Appleton for the maint and now to relay the load.
Sorry for the few details on the past few days, but I did want to give anyone interested in Roehl to know this small tidbit. I left out on Wednesday 11/2 and stopped in Saint Paul on Wednesday 11/9. According to my logs (didn't actually look at dispatched miles, but they shouldn't be that far off) I did 2940 miles for the week. So for those who say 2500+ miles for flat is unheard off with Roehl I just did it and that's with aprox 6 hours of my 70 being loading/tarping/unloading time.
So my recruiting tip (hint hint) is GO TEAM ROEHL!!! This will be a nice paycheck, well its over two weeks, heading into the holidays.cracker88 Thanks this. -

On my way to Canada, Cornwall, ON. This should be interesting! -
still trying to figure out the lingo, so bear with me. do flatbeds go to terminals much or do they pretty much go to companys to get their loads. dont mean to ask dumb questions but i have no clue
-
We go EVERYWHERE. In my short time, I have relayed a few loads from the terminals, but mostly its live loads at some factory. Deliveries can be anywhere as well. Construction sites, businesses with no docks, farm equipment to a dealer. You name it, we do it.
