I had a webasto go out in L'Anse too 3 years ago. Man that was a rude awakening.

 

Well, seeing as how I like to learn the hard way, owell, I went ahead and made the switch. I start securement training in Gary on Saturday. Figure might as well jump now as I'm not getting any younger. I like the idea of the diversity and challenge and could #### sure use the exercise. lol

 

well yesterday 1st day on the on the rd. got to drive 24 miles. supposed to pick up load at 1500 then 1800 turned into 1000 today. never made it out of phoenix, gotta love it.lol

 

AAHHHH. the life of a new truck. and its constant malfunction light!!

Well, delivered my load in Bloomington on Monday. No issues there.
Next load was a curtain to be delivered just West of the Twin Cities. No issue and done. Next load is that same #### curtain.. Roehl like's to stick you with a trailer and keep it with you. Even if you don't want it.. Picked up Owens Corning, no issues finding the place this time and off to Plover, WI.
Dropped that load with no problem and then Charter Steel load headed to Ohio. If you've done one it is pretty easy, but don't trust Roehl's routing. They routed me, no tolls, down to US 30 and around. As I got off of I-75 in Findlay all Hell broke loose. Went left instead of right. Figured out I was going wrong direction and made it worse... turned down a road that was partially closed due to flooding. NO WHERE to turn around and I didn't trust any of the small county roads. So after an hour and talking to a local I finally found my way back to OH 12. Which, Findlay doesn't want thru trucks to take through town. Oh, and when I followed Roehl's routing, another dead end! Oh, and wrong turns and frustration. So, I took OH 12 thru Findlay. If I would have done that in the first place I would have saved myself 2 hours!
So, finally delivered and now I am on a load to Griffin, GA. Deliver on Friday and then see what's on tap for the weekend.

Oh, and yes my 2012 International has a constant malfunction light. #### NEW truck!

 

Sometimes that light is an indication that the right thing is broken, like your EGR.

 

I think its the computer myself. After my macro 32's it said I was getting 6 1/2 MPG.. I don't think I have seen my Instant MPG stay that low unless I was on a hill. Gremlins I say... There's Gremlins in the works!

 

well at least your 32s aren't coming back as 3 MPG like mine...

 

Or 0.00 like I got yesterday. . I've also gotten 82.50 before.

 

Yeah, I've started getting this, and two other drivers I know. By New QC says I'm still hanging about 8.0, which would be normal for me. and they have felt that their QC's have been closer to accurate as well. This leaves me to think that we've got some problem in the math system with the #32's.

But, I haven't had an opportunity to talk with a FM that knows enough to figure something out.
