Well, you can fax them in. just gotta get the number from your fm or the payroll dept. But, don't ask for the phone # on a friday.

 

I'm done with faxes. I finally got a scanner so I can email them in. No point in paying for an aircard and faxes at the same time. All I need is a cell tower in range and they've got the paperwork within minutes of it being signed.

 

What scanner app did you get? They told me it had to be a specific type of image file. I have a .pdf scanner but they said that won't be acceptable.

 

you guys using trip pak? I'm surprised they haven't set you up with in cab scanning, heck trip pak even has a cell phone app.

Wish they would our quallcomms have that option, just no scanner. I'd never have to get out of my truck again.

 

Yeah, pdf sucks. I have that all in one scanner/printer/copier from HP. Walmart has it for $39 and it does pdf, tiff, png, jpeg, and a bunch of other stuff. I use png because it gives a clear scan, though large. Then I run it though an editing program that cuts the size in half and I can get the file down to around 200k so it's easy to email.
