I'm getting tired of "important messages" continuously pouring through over the qualcomm recently. It's been going on for a couple weeks now. The most common ones are "Protect your CDL" or "for only $9 a week, you won't even have to show in court." They're showing up so often and, after pulling off the highway to look at these important messages, I've become immune to caring anymore.

Today, they sent me a preplan to pickup at noon, which they knew wasn't going to happen. So the planners told me if I get there before 2pm that I would get loaded. It was 127 miles away...I made it 82 miles and got "important messages" at that point. I didn't want to stop and find out they were ads again, but I stopped anyway thinking maybe they pulled my name for a random ua, or something critical like that. Turns out they were important after all....they voided the plan on me!

My point is this...why in the world has swift begun with this practice of placing advertisements through "important messages." Worse than that, these companies aren't aligned with swift at all. I am getting aggravated to the point of not caring for what's coming through the qualcomm now.

Why do you stop to read the message? Just listen while you're driving.

Tell me how to listen to messages while driving, that way I can save the hair I keep pulling out.

Push the home button to get to the main screen. Push the messaging button, then push the voice button, then the button in the middle of the arrow keys. Hope that helps.

I tried it just now as I am parked. This will definitely save me time going down the road. Thank you, Western Sky!

I sent a reply to that effect yesterday.
I said I was getting real tired of the 'important' messages being sent about this topic.

Maybe we should all reply every time we get them. It might send a message that we got the message the first time and don't need to be constantly interupted from driving or sleeping to view this nonsense.

Well tonights messages were concerning Swift Legal has no affiliation with this CDL Protection thing. Which is what somebody else has already said on another thread. I did some rough math, at $9/wk x 52 x 12000 drivers, it equals out to 5,616,000 == Wow, over 5 and a half million dollars a year is what they could earn off of us, omg.

    E-Z money!!!

After you have listened to the message push the left button and the pretty voice will tell you message highlighted and the envelope will go away.
