    Well Doc,

I aced all my tests in school today. Pre-trip, in cab, air breaks and all the backing skills. Scheduled for my state tests and road test on Thursday.

Really enjoyed talking with yesterday and can't thank you enough for all the "Extra" lessons this rather expensive school doesn't cover...LOL

Hope you got out on the HOG today buddy! Such a NICE day for it! [IMG]

I hope you do good with your new company when you head out there chralb!
To The other guy, I considered myself a"top notch" instructor as I went further than the schools curriculum required" and as a trainer I made sure the trainee was under the trailer when I was so he knew what was what and how to explain to the shop on the phone what was wrong.

I wish I could be out on the bike but it was sold 2 months ago due to bankrupcy problems and a medical problem. I found out today that I now have another freaking medical problem and it just might cause me to lose my CDL! It could also cost me my "F, X & M" also! But it won't take the knowledge I can pass on away from me! I'm just hoping that the new therapy I will start soon will maybe fix this silly vertigo problem! I don't hate Cancer,I REALLY REALLY F**N HATE CANCER!

Thanks Doc and good advice. I'm not worried about remembering but I'm sure I'll be a touch nervous when the time comes.....LOL But honestly I'm not concerned about getting my CDL. I'm far more concerned about getting a decent job with a decent company that will simply give me the shot to prove myself ...ya know?

Hi Ike, Well, I've applied to many as right now, just getting an income is paramount for me. As we all know, getting the "straight skinny" on any company is...ummm...challenging at best as I've heard comments on just about every one of them that span the entire spectrum from great to horrible. I "think" it simply boils down to the trucker you talk to and his personal attitude in life. So I'm hoping that if I'm Polite and reliable and hard working to them, they'll be good to me in return/

At the moment I have my eye on Crete As they have decent equipment, pay newbies pretty well and OTR van is really what I'd like to run. But in all honesty, I'm in a spot where I'll take whatever I can get...LOL

Sir, you have my deepest sympathy and most heartfelt prayers!! I thank you for the good wishes. I too have found myself at the mercy of God's plans and only wish I knew what they were. But one thing I'm sure of is I trust him with my life and you can as well. Many times we have no idea what results from the interactions we have with others. It's quite possible that yours may have already saved a life, or will and that life will be meaningful to many others out there. Keep the faith brother and treat each day as the gift it is. Our Harley chapter does several cancer benefit runs each year for cancer victims and research. You have my word sir that as a group, you will be in our prayers at the next run in 3 weeks. God Bless!!

RO: Just give us a link, and I'll be sure to donate just to help out! Maybe you're "really" being tested out, but in the long run as long as you stay strong, keep your chin up, and try not to let these trying times get you down, then you can get through this. Hell, if you're really 55, then you're still young. Stay strong!
