His show yesterday he says he has a program that searches the internet each day about comments about him and his products. He says he ignores the naysayers. I about burst the seatbelt laughing. I bought lowest rr tires I could find taking off 170 rr and bought a fleet air filter after coming across him with my first Sirius radio and exactly no difference in mpg. I ran out of Penray winter fuel addative for a few days and dropped .5 mpg. He says additives are worthless. What am I supposed to feel ?! Bottom line each can have his own opinion and if one gets so heated over someone else's perhaps he/she feels much too strongly and doesn't want to be open minded. I learned to listen to people who have been at it much longer than me. Those people are from families who had hundreds of truck wore out before KR was even conceived.

There are some things that will never change in our industry. KR has a great position to educate and elaborate great business (in trucking) plans for those that want to go "his" route, however there are many routes or ways of doing business in trucking. (Some haul tanks and others RGNs)
I respect the gentleman and every other driver spoken in here, we all got great insight to pass and some of us do pass it along although we're not hosts on a radio show or popular among the industry's parts and services companies.
I've listened for the past few months to his show and although I can tell by what I've heard, the gentleman KR has a great guide to trucking, I'd dare here say his downfall to me imho is he uses the air time to express his self motives or speak highly of himself. - makes me wonder if he truly understands what most drivers out here are doing on the road, most of us are not as literate nor can really read books weekly as he does.
the buy old/new to me is really a high misconception in his part, along with the California business approach related to CARB. And another that worn me out and since then I quit listening was his group of successful O/Os (I believe) he kept me on the radio waiting on valuable information while the show embraced the idea of getting groups to form groups in which he didn't know for sure how well they were going to work but he wanted the people in "his" group to "have" their own authority.. that's when I stop listening.
the other shows (free wheelin', nemo and so) are pointless and offer nothing more than a "w h ore thread" would in TTR.
I truly hope and wish him luck in his show, and that he'd take that opportunity to really do something for trucking outside of his self views.
best wishes.joseph1135 Thanks this. -
so apparently the only benefit of the Turbo3000D is it reduces kevin ruthorfords presence on TTR...LOL!
