    You were 1099 so the labor board won’t do anything for you. You were not an employee. Take your money and move on. Don’t worry about him threatening your DAC, plenty of good companies to work for that don’t use it.

    True but the op was also part of it too since he agreed to work 1099. I wouldn’t want the IRS up my butt about it so I’d just take the money and move on.
