Haha! My favorite motorcycle I've ever been on. One big reason I'm moving away from the Northeast is that I want to be able to ride year round.

You shouldn't have quit.......quitting didn't make the other 3 incidents go away. You should have tried to make it to a year, and maybe beyond. All of those were only incidents. They wouldn't have put any points on your license. You may have not caught that 4th one, and I think your chances of getting on with a company would have been better with you currently employed as opposed to unemployed.

I had my first trucking company put two non preventables on my DAC. I told them what are they? They said well it shows here that you got hit at a truck stop and did nothing to prevent it. I said "Is that the one in Louisiana where I was eating dinner in the bunk and the guy hit my truck with the curtains closed?" "Yea, that was it." Hmm, ok, what was the other one? "Well it shows here that you hit a construction barrel driving through a construction site." I said "Oh, the one where the tanker suddenly changed lanes and pushed me into the barrels, where I had two choices, hit the barrel, or hit a tanker full of fuel and you guys watched the video and agreed it was 100% his fault?" "Yea, that's it."

I said "Ok, ya'll are pieces of ####, I'm out of here."

Trucking is or can be at times stressful x3. I am concerned with your condition. Backing into a sign won’t kill anyone, but a fit of rage out there in traffic may.

Not sure why any company would take a chance. I would look for work outside of transportation.

I don't have problems with my disability when I'm medicated. My psychiatrist encouraged me to pursue this path, and she knows the details of my past and current state. My episodes of mania were triggered by various factors, ones I have some control over. I deal with stress pretty well.

My last job was very hectic, lots of crazy maneuvering. 12-14 hour days with no breaks, heavy physical labor, lots of customer service, very rushed. I had no issues with my condition working with all this.

You make it sound like working as staff on a cruise ship is actually fun.
