Advice from owner/operators, what are your biggest difficulties?

Like Tony Soprano, you do all of the work and they always have their hand out to collect their share.

 

Exactly!!!! it is worse. They believe they are part of the family. And they act like one of them . LOL

 

Are you running with your numbers? How has long been doing it? Was thinking about doing that with my old truck when my new truck comes in next year since I cant find a trailer for a decent price and would have to wait awhile before new one can be built.

 

My own numbers, started in 2018 had a bit of a break. Power only since 2019 May


I will never buy a trailer again. When most major companies are buying them for themselves, I don’t see the need to take the risk on.

specially when forklift operators think they in demolition derby.

 

Amazons freight board is Relay and JB hunt you sign up on their site.

 

The knowledge I passed along is from another on here who has been doing that successfully. Starting with their own truck and expanding to a total of 5 trucks. All doing the same thing.

So while I have not personally done it. I have discussed it in depth.

But I do agree with you. To an extent. Which is why I prefaced my suggestion.

 

I believe JB hunt authority needs to be 3 months old. But convoy TQL Uber freight Amazon all will take new authority. There are a few more I can’t remember. Oh coyote will.

 

I thought so too but they signed me up manually and that could be the difference.
