    Hello,
    hope everyone safe and doing well.

    My question is :
    Can i book a loads under my authority if my truck "operated by" other authority witch is there's MC on my truck door saying my company name "operated by" there's MC# ?
    Basically would like to know if I can use my MC# for booking loads too?

    DOT goes by the name on the truck. In case you have inspection/overweight/ticket/accident/anything it goes onto their record. Do they need these kind of aggravations?

    PS: make signs to cover theirs while you are hauling your MC around and you can.

    I’m not sure but I think that’s where the issue will be
    If you’re loaded doing side work then nothing would be insured
    I’m leased on with a company and if I find my own loads I simply have them handle everything and it ends up being like every other load
