Since there is always more people looking at bad companies than at the good companies forum I thought I would post here. I have 5 prehires they are. #1 werner #2 pam dedicated #3 roehl #4 tmc and #5 tl express. If anyone has any positives or any negatives it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Advice is welcome!!!

100% agreed with NoTarps.........TMC, roehl
People who work for werner have a hard time moving on because they don't know how to fill out their logbook because co. uses electronic system. -
As far as Weener, the whole thing with their electronic log book, it kinda sucks, but it dont. As far as drivers who have a hard time with actually doing a book after leaving Weener, i'm sorry, that isnt that hard. My dad was a truck driver for 30 years....ever since i was a kid, i knew what a log book was. Heck, by the time i entered Jr. High, i think i knew how to fill one out (granted i didnt know perticulars such as when you go to line 4 or when you are actually "off duty"..etc.) But i knew how to draw the lines NEAT, and total each of the 4 lines up, and knew the total of all 4 couldnt be anything other than 24.
really not hard. My one mentor kinda got on me about filling out "24" on my logbook on the total line before i signed my name to it. He said "you're logging ahead". I said, "no i am not, because unless we time warp into another world to deliver this load, there will always be 24 hours in a day. -
I also got pre-hire from Roehl . I finish my school about 3 months from now , hopefully got my cdl by then and start with Roehl . Good luck to you BT .
Big Toddzilla Thanks this. -
How is it coming along there?
I considered going there when I started, but did something else..... -
But getting to subject, That comment was from people that I have spoken to in the last 2 years ie: students, drivers, recruiters, owners. Most of those people commented on drivers who have (only) worked for werner not having coherant capabilities to complete their logs correctly and drive.
Werner and their system alerts you to excess drive times improper hours as they are logged etc. It is almost like a babysitter with you all the time. As a driver you have to ba able to complete and operate your truck in accordance with the HOS as a solo driver without supervision anywhere else. Big bad DOT will get you..........LOL -
I drove for Roehl, and found them to be a very good company. But just remember one thing,no matter where you go,its a job and not a driving vacation.

But it can be as easy as you drawing a line through the time that has not yet passed that could include going to bed and finishing off the logbook page as you being in the sleeper berth.
You also are not suppose to sign your page until the day is complete as you are siging it saying that you have finished the day and you certify log page is true and correct.cpassey Thanks this.
