    Wow
    400 per year?
    Really?

    Out of how many people?

    What % is that, exactly?

And, how many of those were trying to take their own lives?

It was a statistic I found on the NIH (National Institute of Health) website; which is a very reputable source.

What's up with the condescending post? I was only pointing out that CO poisoning is a real threat; as real as any other physical threat. Granted, most of the deaths are attributed to exposure in peoples homes, during winter months; when snow packs block heating system exhaust vents. Search "CO poisoning in truck", you'll find that it happens, maybe not as frequently as other exposure sources, but it does happen.

Why people try to act like "internet tough guys" on these forums, is beyond me. Get out of the truck and live a little, it's good for you. Too much time at truck stops jerking off I guess...

Electronic side. Mostly Orcad - it was cheap. Programmable gate arrays, PALs using whatever software the vendors provided. Always shopped the board layout and design out of house. Mechanical design depended... bigger outfits usually had a in-house mechanical guy, smaller outfits shopped it out. In those days it was usually Autocad.

    Ahh, check.

Autocad monkey myself, but started out on the boards way back when. Never could make them see the sense of investing in better, faster software. Ah well, I got paid by the hour anyway ;^)
