Live in Buffalo area and we are getting good snow this winter. I will be home for several days. Need tips on what can be done so that when I return to the truck I am not stuck in snow and need a tow?
No I don't have luxury of parking at home. No I cannot park at a truck stop. No I don't have access to plug in vehicle.
Please offer helpful info and not just find better place to park. It is what it is and that's all I have.
How would you experienced drivers handle this? Oh I will be empty too...
Thank you.

Get a shovel. Hire a plow truck. Get chains and learn to use them.
As a last resort you could move to FL -

Don't have access to chains. Any other suggestions?

Stay home until spring...

Ask your company for suggestions. Sometimes they have other drivers living in the area with a good shared lot.
Also check local shippers and receivers, sometimes has extra room.
Drive around in your car, looking for large lots especially gravel lots and ask the owner of a lot. -
Drive around parking area to cool off tires before you stop so they won't melt into snow pack. Also if you have a little hill you can back trailer onto it will help you get moving when you take off. And kitty litter works for traction. Might throw a little down then park on it or throw some in front of tires before you take off

Maybe ask some of the truck repair shops if they rent parking space. Another place I'd check is DeCarolis Truck Rental on Williams St.

Also check around for storage facilities that have truck parking. I'm in the same boat and park at a storage place that is gated with plugins for each truck with an assigned spot. (About 15 trucks park here) Nice knowing you have a spot that will be there when you get back. Don't know how much it is as the company pays for it, but another thing to check out.

Get prepared if you find a spot to park , go to HOME DEPOT get a big bag of sand / salt mix ( better than kitty litter ) and a good shovel , line up a company for a possible boost to get it going after its sat for a few days, make sure you top up the tanks and add anti gel to the tanks.
As others noted if you or someone at home can call around to storage places , repair shops to see if they offer short term parking get started on that before you get to Buffalo
