If this thread gets any better I'm gonna ask MT to move it to the comedy section! :D

And fiddle sticks? there's already two or three post of yours in here that could get your hand slapped if somebody reported you. Attack the post not the poster!

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but that's a huge red flag IMO.

To begin...please accept my apology for reducing your oversize font to a "normal" size...not sure if it's an ego thing for you or a visual "need" at your advanced age (actuarial speak...no such word as "actuarially"...but it's your word! However I will high-lite, and re-color the parts I intend to address.
A little bit later you contradict this statement...according to recent tables published by SSI.
    http://www.ssa.gov/oact/STATS/table4c6.html

Recent or previous...all of us have gone through the "application process"...and some "experienced drivers" continue to do so...not just this profession, most all actually!

I wouldn't call it "stupidity", I would call it a persons right to choose for themselves.

Could this be an admission of poor research, incomplete research, or maybe.....personal choice? In all your time "researching"....you never saw when some "experienced drivers" warned of the slow months in this industry? Hmmmmm...were you a "research analyst" in the insurance field? Wonder why you got "downsized"...couldn't find any "stimulus $$$"?

Most of us "experienced truckers" took all the written tests at the beginning, had all endorsements [that's what we call them BTW] right out the gate. Evidently you chose to concentrate on the "basics" ... all that "extra research" and study might have been too much for you!

Where are your "solutions" to any issues? Haven't seen any, all I see is a rookie making claims based on all the tripe that is available here on trucking forums....you seem to believe what other "youngsters" claim about other companies, without the personal knowledge having worked at any of these companies. The next "section" verifies this statement:

You missed another section of TTR....here's the link for you....

    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/discuss-your-favorite-trucking-company-here/

And with all this "research", finding all the bad these companies do...you failed to notice all the times some of us "old timers" explained that a "pre-hire" letter was not a guaranteed job, but better stated, an "interest" letter just to get the truck school newbie to complete an application.

Found the "names"...CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Yet, OTOH, you were convinced that all these "bad company reports" were fully accurate, non-biased, that the "complainer" was always "NOT GUILTY", and it was that company's fault for that bad report to get posted on a trucking forum. Hmmmm...I sense a flaw in some research....but I will continue this effort I have begun! I'm old and stubborn with that kind of activity!

All that wasted time in research to come to an incomplete conclusion! And even though Schneider rebuked you, they are still #1 in your book. Interesting, types in green (pale green at that), and desires to drive ORANGE! Quite the conundrum...sucks to be you!
Here it is...right at the end....mind your actuarity tables....."some 20 years your junior" would put you in your early 40's, yet before you claimed " I only have maybe 20 years of actuarial life left, and I want to live it."...which would put you in your 50's. Check the link I gave....longevity is figured for males at 75+, females at 80+. Just sayin....but as I said....I'm old and stubborn....and I can read and retain what I research.
