No idea about that. But it sounds feaseable.

But for future jobs, that area is worse than O-town for hiring drivers.

With millions upon millions of people living in Florida, why is it so difficult for Florida residents to get onto the fleets of many of the nations trucking companies? Floridian businesses and residents need food, clothing, supplies, mail, cargo, freight, and fuel shipped in and out, just as the the remaining states do.

I don't see why not, after you accumulate 7 days off. OTR driving is similar to being in the military. Wives have to deal with much of that which always rolls downhill, too.

Its a consumer state. You people consume more than you produce. It's a glut of trucks coming out, so FL shippers can pay cheap rates.

In addition your states is a destination. You don't move freight THRU Florida. Freight either begins or ends there.

There is a dropyard somewhere in Florida , I've been to it. Don't quote me on it but I think it's near Bradenton. You may try to drop the trailer there and take care of business.
