Jeesh...I didn't even ask for a radio (it had been ripped out) the first 3 or 4 months I ran for someone last. I need nothing other than a good truck and I showed them that. Then they decked it out!

HAHAHA, you make me laugh...
I know how hard your job is, I know is not easy to deal with rude people in a daily basis, dealing with a WILD world on the road ... I just want to make sure my driver is at least comfortable in the truck which is going to be like a new "little house" for a couple of weeks , yes, of course money is important , I will pay him on time, fair , weekly bonuses etc etc etc , However, RESPECT and RECOGNITION is very important to me.
I will make sure he is treated as the CEO of the truck , I am nobody without him, I do not even know how to turn the lights... I am just the owner of an engine that is NOTHING without a driver

I want to thank everybody for the suggestions, today I did give the welcome package to my driver, he was very surprised, he even asked me if it was a JOKE ... I was like ....
nooo... This is not a joke... It seems this industry needs to treat drivers way better... He has more than 25 years driving experience and he said he never saw something like this ...
Without drivers ... there is no trucking industry , there is no dispatch, no brokers, no truck stops... (By the way, very rude people attending a couple that I visited )
