I went to 3 different schools to get top training for my class Certification. I now have my CDL. My career goal is the be a owner operator. I already got a lot of money saved up , and a brand new truck. Can I start out as owner operator, or I have to driver for a company for a year or 2 then switch to owner operator.
Advise on new driver becoming owner operator driver , and jobs

Just trying to get a little information I have to full set up to be a owner operator new truck, all my endorsements, about 80k I’m saving account just for truck maintenance, so basically before I start on my own as a owner operator I need to drive for a company first to get some experience then consider switching over to owner operator?

Insurance will be crazy expensive if attainable at all if you have 0 experience and are going on your own right out of the gate. Which is one reason why it's advised against doing before you have a couple years under your belt. Also knowing the business, what it costs to move and what makes a load good or what makes a load not so good.
Basicly drawing up a plan to figure how you will make more money for yourself as a driver than you would driving someone else's truck. -

Bernard, your post is a little hard to understand. Have you already bought your truck?

My advice would be to at least drive for someone for a while and learn how things work. There are different seasons for trucking, different types of trailers for different things. Go work for Werner or JB Hunt for about a year and learn about the different lanes you can do. Learn about different areas that have different kinds of freight.
