I think I know were you're talking bout. I was heading out that way occasionally last year. Haven't been out there since December though and prob won't be for the foreseeable future. I've seen les schwab tire shops in Montana , I will look into them on the net tonight, might be able to find something coming north next week if need be.

Got 4 of my Goodyear G572s at a Wingfoot in Portland near Jubitz going on 2 years ago and still have over 23/32 on those 4. These are going to be some great tires if you can spring for them. I paid 500 each out the door with my discount and no casing though.kw9's rock Thanks this. -
As far as Kal Tire prices go, they've got to pay for those new Tire Boutiques somehow....

So.....did you buy them?

anybody have any idea what the rolling resistance rating is on the Aeolus tires ?,,, been looking at them too but can't seem to find much info

i have been following your form on the tire i have also been wondering if you still like the tire dollar for dollar,, i live in lloydminster gravel is a tough road, out to make an honest dollar. do not much care who makes what i want a deal bottom line . i would like to know how much paper work did it take

im still running my hn-596's i put on a roughly 13 month's ago. i haven't put a tread depth gauge on them recently but on a penny with Lincoln's head facing down they the tread is at about at his neck. and that's pulling belly and side dump. i had to replace two because of side wall damage when i was hauling some concrete rubble recently. i put some samson tires on in there place as they were the closest tread pattern wise that was available when i took out my other two. traction is great off-road with the hn-596's and they have been a pretty tough tire. winter time traction is pretty good too. when i get ready to replace the rest of them i plan to put the same thing on again.

I think if your tires experience rough conditions, like my spread axle flat, the cheapest longest lasting tire will do. I go quality on steers & drives, but on trailer I go with price/ longevity.

i agree on quality for steers, if your application is rough on tires, where you will have at least a few that wont make it threw there entire tread life anyway they are great tires, i got 16 ply virgin tires for less than the cost of a set of quality recaps. i feel tread wear is better than re-caps iv tried in the past. the 596's are a great dump truck tire in my opinion. if i stayed on the highway all the time though i don't think they would be my first choice. i can see how spending more on a tire that will last longer and provide better fuel millage would be cheaper in the long run on a all highway application.
