Don't you have to pay like $100 for finger prints etc.... Can I go ahead and take the hazmat test and then get my prints later ?
I was just wondering if you get a job where u don't need hazmat seems like a waste of $$$
Not sure what is best to do ????????????
After a few years of research ???

@dennisroc get all your endorsements dont look at it as a waste of money, Instead see it as an investment.
DrGearGrinder, dennisroc, G13Tomcat and 2 others Thank this. -
, I never got my HazMat, if I had hazardous on, I just didn't placard the wagon, but I was only going short distances and that was years ago, I don't recommend that today. The HazMat test is total BS anyway, I swear, they asked questions that were never in the manual. I failed every time I tried. For me it wasn't worth it, I wasn't about to pay into that foolishness. You may have to, not the end of the world, but like driver facing cameras, I want no part of that.

If I need it (which I doubt I will hauling boxes in boxes, I'll reapply and go thru the bs again.)
@dennisroc I wish you well.Last edited: Sep 1, 2019

@dennisroc let this be a lesson on the hours of any job you take. I have completely adapted to being awake at night now and find it near impossible to change. On the weekends when I don't work I still sleep till about noon.
