No disrepect. Only few can put up with this kind of ch!t. I just wish so many wouldn't exept the minimum wage payscale. It really doesn't have to be this way. I hear the talk on the radio. If only what they were saying were the truth trucking would be a whole lot better for everyone.

I've been down the real world road before. I was just hope'n things were different now. Back in 89 and 90 I drove for a minimum wage company> 19 cents a mile never got home and stayed in the northeast. Hand unloaded alot of junk. Missed alot of the holidays all for around $400.00. I was young and didn't know any better nor did I have a backbone. I let the dipspacher crap all over me. Those days are over for me.

You hit the nail on the head. The boss man pretty much told us that if we don't like it The cycle will continue, and for the little they pay us. They're not out much.

Non-union but the word is brought up more and more these days. Rumor has it the Charlotte terminal tried to go union recently........They laid off 29 drivers and are in the process of moving alot of dedicated runs from that terminal to another location. The "U" word doesn't fly well with those upper management folks over there. They are debt free and just laid off over 60% of their drivers. I think the free choice act has them shaking in their boots. Just my oppinion

The "U" word doesn't fly well with upper management folks ANYWHERE. They don't want to give up THE POWER. That is, the power to fire people for anything and everything, from the TM's wife having PMS to farting too loud in the bathroom.

The arrival of a union would put a swift end to those sort of shenanigans, and force fair treatment of employees.
