I can honestly say i've learned from my mistakes. and also mixing up with the wrong company and girlfriends at the time as well. all of that, is what contributed to my status as of now, I've became meek, as well as lowly at heart, as to flare my temper and control my rage inside. the criminal damaging charge should be dropped but they stuck it on because i had a record anyways, so sometimes the justice system works against everyone.. and for the hardened criminal. But i appreciate this yall, I needed it. After Aubrey "Allen" Smith told me that bad news. Trusting that he knows this industry, and does promote quality ebooks, I trusted his advice.. But I dont know what he meant by the CSA laws though. but here everyone says I can do it.. IM gonna stick with yall

There is no rule disqualifying drivers for misdemeanors and I don't know what Smith is referring to either. The world is full of "experts" like those who write books on how to raise children but have no kids. The older charges shouldn't really be a mitigating factor if you disclose them. See if you can get one expunged like the other driver said.

On the applications they ask you to, Explain, charges... You may want to get a written statement from people involved if she recanted, as you said. Maybe a few anger management classes too that you can prove... if you can show your are doing your part to get rehabilitated, it could just get someone to give you a call back.

The real question was how long ago were the convictions? If they are over three years old, then you will be limited on which company(ies) you can work for, but there will be a few you can gain employment from. Good luck

Big Rig did you even do any research before going to school? Why don't you look at the qualifications then go from there. With the CSA in place and insurance companies being so strict, companies have to be careful on who they hire.

Is there anything wrong with that? C'mon, there are some dispatchers who need chased around the office! (preferably by wild, rabid weasels!)

CSA is just a way to put a point value to regulations that you are discovered violating, assuming the officer that inspects you is certified. It doesn't do much of anything, but it makes people feel like they're doing a better job and makes customers think that if you have good scores you're more likely to not crash and destroy their product.
