Hey i just got mine hooked up..Thank you..I went to Advanced auto and bought the 14" Imperial Fan, and thats bigger than the one you used, i figured bigger is better...lol...It was a a couple inches or so bigger..I turned the blades around by just taking the nut loose and flipping them..Then Reversed the wires and put my old plug back on there..The bigger fan will just barely mount, but it does still fit on the metal..I used 4 self drilling screws Size 12-14x1..Sinched it right tight..73 Bucks out the door on that fan..Works Great...My problem started out as an AC5 code..I replaced the compressor, the reciever drier, the High Pressure switch, and the exspansion valve , and vacumed and refilled the system..Turned out i did not realize the condensor fan was not spinning as fast as it should, thus the high pressure side would rocket to 400 and shut down..I was just seeing that it was on, but a friend smacked the fan motor when the pressure went up , and it took off spinning faster , and the pressure droped, sure enough it was the fan..I spent a lot , but at least i saved on the fan..lol..Thanks for the tip brotha you saved me a nice pile of cash...B

LilliLLil....I can't begin to thank you enough for this thread. My APU was shutting off...ACS code, and blowing the 20 Amp fuse consistently. I was tired of replacing fuses all the time for about 2 weeks. I went back there and gave the condenser fan a twist only it find it not spinning very freely. It was still working but getting noisy and especially right before blowing the fuse(must've had heavy resistance in the circuit). So I went to Advance Auto and got the 12" fan you suggested. On the road(tonight), I am parked and I installed it. 2 of the 4 holes matched and lined up when I turned the fan a bit. So I just reinstalled 2 of the original bolts, from the old fan right through the fan and threaded condenser holes.I did as you said, pulled nut, flipped fan to work as puller, and wired with polarity reversed. It's super quiet! I'm super cold! Yesssssss!

I'll probably drill 2 new holes and add 2 u-nuts and bolts once I get home and back off the road...along with crimping wire connections properly and adding heat shrink tubing. Thanks again for the advice!!!
