That is something I hadn't considered. I went to lube the throw out bearing on the W900 and that cross member right under the bell housing was packed with straw. I could blow it all off before a regen. We blow off the combine every night. Would it ever force a regen when I didn't want it?

As long as the regen switch is turned off it wont regen. But just make sure to let it regen once ur out if the field or it will derate on you after awhile

I guess there is another aspect to these newer trucks. The salesman was driving it here so I could tow a full tanker around and see if it remains smooth and quiet under load. He didn't make it. If the truck can't run neither can the combine. Screenshot_20210820-120802_Message+.jpg

You need to forget about buying a 15L engine.
Look for a MX11 or similiar.
It will do much better for your application.

Most farmers around here with newer trucks put "aftermarket" exhaust on there trucks. Only worse offender around here of EPA laws is local highway/maintenance departments. I don't trust a delete on working truck except for one guys who used to be on this site. I don't trust anyone on MX. We needed sleeper truck in a rush for new contract and ending up buying used one from a farmer with a MX13. I am undeleting it.
