New shocks

I've never noticed a different when I replace shock . I usually use Monroe 65.
I did replace cab shocks ... -
Where are the die hard Kw owners who boast on how well Kw ride for advice .
This rides like a stagecoach just the same as the Pete I had . I like the truck but hate the ride.
I now see that Kw/Pete owners do not what a good riding truck is . At the end of the day I don't wish to feel like I just finished a bull riding contest.
I hoping to get some help on improving the ride -
I don't know where the die hard KW owners who boast on how well KW rides for advice, but they are probably few and far between. An honest KW fan will tell you that good riding KWs are somewhat rare. Did you change the shocks on the sleeper, that is assuming you have one? New shocks on an Aerocab KW with a sleeper will make a huge difference in the ride.

8 bags suck compared to the 4 bag rides. They almost ride like a walking beam because they have to be stiffer due to the shorter bags.
-
i changed cab shock and zero difference. in researching KW, most said 8 bag rode good . I'm puzzled as to where they got this information and by no one responding to this thread reinforces this

There are several KW 8 bag air rides: AG100, AG200, AG400, and AG460. I have owned or driven trucks with each of the four. To me the AG460 rode the best of all until I bought a short wheelbase 95 W9. It has AG100 and I think it is the best riding KW I have ever been in. AG100 is very inconsistent in ride quality. Most were poor riding with only an occasional good ride. The only thing I can tell you is to be sure the ride height is correct and all the bushings are in good condition.

Like bigguns said check for proper ride height and bushings. is this a tandem or tri-drive?
-
Air ride set too high.
Also as strange as it sounds could be your front springs. Put some good grease fortified with moly. It makes a difference.
