Most of the time the guys that work the florida stations, are pretty cool.

They can become pricks, when need be.

As long as your have a current health certificate for the dogs,

    no problem !!

    Semi Crazy Thanks this.

Went by there again tonight. On the way up i did stop, guy was playing with his phone, smiled and waive me on. On the way down I just blew past it, Wiener and US Xpress were already doing 5mph and they hadn't even taken the ramp yet.

    What a waste of time.

I pulled in to one in Fl with an untarped load of 2x4's. The guy was barely awake when he asked me what I was hauling. I told him Twinkies. He actually opened his eyes and looked at the load before he told me to get lost.

I pulled into the AG station just cross the Bama line in Florida one time dragging a empty step. Was asked what I was hauling........ Just kinda looked at the inspector, only to be asked again the same question. We'll then my reply was the ole "sailboat fuel" comment....... Big mistake a hour an a half later after my truck was completely searched I was back on 10 moving again.

When I run I-15 into CA they ask for my bills and take them inside for a few minutes, I'm usually loaded with pvc pipe.

California bug check on the 15 is making sure the taxes are paid. They are making copies of your bills.

I was working for a nursery in north Florida, depends on their mood, can make for a long night, its better to stop.....if you ever haul plants either in, or out of FL, make sure you have ALL your paperwork.

Me too, a few years ago; had concrete retaining wall block load, asked me where I was headed (yard or job) and asked more than once as they were doing themselves a copy.

You can apply with the State of FL Ag Office (?) for a permanent bypass which will have you get a green PrePass light, but still need to pull-in if anything is on/in the truck that might be of interest to them; that is how the exemption cert will read as I recall from having done this several years ago.
