AI Assisted Cameras - The Next Level of Hell

I wouldn't work for this company for another day.

My company will never do this, which is why I started it, and why I'm the only employee.

 

I quit a company with company cameras as soon as they were installed, never looked back.

 

The problem with throwing the keys in my bosses face is, he’s not the one making these decisions. The highest guy at my company, who I could walk right up to and have a conversation with is also the one not making these decisions. In my case these systems are being mandated several levels above by someone I’ll never get the chance to meet.

like any job/employee situation the company has to pay me sufficiently to put up with the level of BS that comes with the job. So far I make well over a dollar a mile and don’t have the inward facing cameras. Just the outward facing with “coaching”. If they start messing with the pay or require us to remove the inward facing covers, my situation will have to be reevaluated at that time.

 

Can't be bothering you too much since you're still there. I would have immediately walked off the job the minute that tearless retina was installed.

 

Then sadly your part of the problem. Tolerateing being treated like an animal means they will keep treating you like an animal, and like any animal they will do more and more to control you as your "trained". And just because your boss is not directly in charge. He IS the person who is going to get your keys and i personally have no problem burning a bridge with a company that sees me as an animal. And guess what you may never see the faceless suits.

But enough drivers throw their keys on the desk and tell the company to get shlonged anally by a large whale then he will yell at HIS managers and so on and so forth until either the company wont have any drivers left and is forced to close its doors. Or they will be left with the amazon rejects so desperate or stupid thats all they got left. That is hoe you effect change. If you do nothing then you deserve what you get.


So if your unwilling to do anything about it then they sure as hell WILL slowly force more and more down your throat. And if they wait enough between new #### you will justify it as "i get paid enough" just like now as you get more and more intrusive systems forced down your throat.

 

I have spoken to several lawyers in Georgia.
I understand YOUR point and agree.
The companies are within "their" legal right (sad to say).
Of course, some actions fall within "illegal and cameras," but this is not one.

For some odd reason, this never seems to even cross their minds.. Nor does it make the drivers less apt to NOT go any further than the question phase on the job search.. Meanwhile.. there are still loads of people who are going to the "be your own boss" Chicago fleece jobs
