Is it still called the "priests disease"?:biggrin_25521: Again, not to complain, but my brother had a scare couple years back, they detected a small amount of cancer on the prostrate. Naturally he was concerned, couple years past, he had it checked again, no sign whatsoever, so what happened there? Cancer doesn't just "go away". You know, there was a time when ignorance was actually bliss. I knew of guys that lived for years with "those bumps under their arms", and as soon as they found out it was cancer, they didn't live 6 months.Quite frankly, at almost 70, I'm not sure I want to know.

Cancer does just go away, but that's rare. Something causes the immune system to wake up and go berserk and kick that 'furriner' out of the body.

Sir Chris Hoy reveals that his cancer is terminal
    Video
Sir Chris Hoy, one of Britain's greatest cyclists and Olympians, has revealed he was given a diagnosis last year that he has two to four years left to live. A tumour was found in Sir Chris's shoulder and a second scan found primary cancer in his prostate, which has metastasised to his bones. Tumours have also been found in his shoulder, pelvis, hip, spine and rib and he has been told it is incurable.

I had a neighbor that was a male nurse for over 30 years. He was a welcome source of knowledge. He saw it all, and he told me, a doctor will NEVER tell you "you have so long to live". They may beat around the bush saying something like, "if you don't make changes, this could happen", but never, "you have 6 months to live" THAT, my friends, is pure Hollywood.

Why are Americans going to have record numbers of cancer next year? Because they tried to inject it in to every one in 2020-21?
