    Should have fuses in battery box for ecm just take them out.

    I was just thinking maybe i need to change those fuses never did owned the truck since 2002

    Have u checked what air temp sensor is reading on the on ecm.my old detroit would advance the the timeing on cold start to help warm up faster.this was on option and n9t available on alll detroits.

    Yes detroit checked air temp and oil temp, both apparently affect start timing. I also replaced both.

    Have changed the air temp sensor thats the one going into intake manifold about 1 inch round where is oil temp sensor?

    Going to move on to mechanical issues. Going to pull the manifold and plug oil pressure line like rebel127 suggested as well as another poster on here. From there may check injectors, cam timing, etc..

    The oil temp sensor and air intake temp sensor both affect starting timing, and both have been changed.

    I know you said you had it checked out but have you tried another ECM? We had two trucks that did the same thing as yours is doing and I replaced the ECM on both and it took care of the issue.

    Yes it did the same thing with a known good ecm and latest detroit program matched to serial.
