Does someone make a precleaner screen that fits over the external Donaldson cleaners? I though I read something about them at one point. Now that I have two Petes I am looking for something to keep the chaff out of my filters.

I can't tell you the brand name but I do know that there are some out there. I think they originally made them for snow but they would also work for what your wanting to do. They just slip over the outside of the breathers. I saw them at peterbilt dealers, I know I saw them at peterbilt of sioux city and council bluffs ia. Hope this helps.

a cheap solution is just put some panty hose over them. Doesn't do much to keep the dirt out, but the big leaves and chaff will stay out. I run my pete that way this fall for about a week during silage. Took them off because I couldn't stand the idea of running around with panty hose on my ride. I decided that if I couldn't afford new air cleaners every 2 weeks or so, I should just park the #### thing.

Found some made by freedom air filters. Just got them in the mail. They are the Outerwears material with elastic to hold them on. Seem to fit pretty well. Should really help extend my filter changes.
