My air compressor is cycling every 2-4 minutes while going down the road. More frequently when pulling a hill. The air compressor intake is from the pressure side of the turbo.

No audible air leaks when truck is off, air stays up when truck off.

Where should I start? Compressor Governor/Unloader, or compressor valves sticking? Air dryer?

    Thanks for the advice!

Check the purge line from the air tank to the govner a lot of the time the line leaks and also the same for the air line from the fan selinoid to the fan hub and check the main air line to the compressor outlet spray them with soapy water it can also be the unloader or the air govner

you may want to check the wastegate actuator on your turbo too.

Engine off, chock your wheels and release your brakes, and listen to rule out a bad brake chamber.

I'd change the governor on the compressor first, mine was doin the same thing and that fixed it.

Thanks! It does it when I'm stopped and idling too, I've applied tractor and trailer parking brakes and dumped the suspension too and it still cycles the same.

Fan clutch could be leaking. I had this problem and it was leaky fan clutch. Wont leak with engine off. Unhook air line and pressurize it with shop air to check for leaks.

Unloaders in the compressor is the usual culprit.

One thing about fan clutch leaks, this will also cause your engine fan to run constantly with a CAT.. forgot about that when I was posting earlier
