Air compressor issues

    Hi there, I have air compressor thats overcharging, especially on idle. Any ideas what could be a problem?

    Thats was my first thought, so I went ahead and replaced governor,but it’s still doing same thing.

    Did you change the set screw to see if it would cut out a lower pressure, In the governor???

    Yes,
    u changed it,
    but there is a setting you can make lower,
    It takes the pressure on the incoming port and restricts it.

    Pressure line from tank to governor restricted , may be ice, take line loose , you should air flow from tank . The other line goes to air dryer to make it cycle.

    On my governor it says non adjustable. Should I get different governor with adjustable option and maybe try to adjust that way ?
