I am just testing my air compressor, when I start the engine, it takes 2 min.30 sec. to go from 0 to 115 psi. Is that normal or too slow?

My Sheet says.
From 85-100 should take 45 seconds.
Says nothing about how long it should take from 0 -
There is not a set amount of time from 0 to cut out. Just 85-100 psi in less than 45 seconds

You want everything in the truck filled up, then pump the brakes to get the air down below 85 to measure how fast the compressor can refill the tanks The airbags and cab accessories wont get air until about 90 psi. Once filled, the air bags use very little air, but if they're all empty, they'll add time to get from 85-100.

The test here in Maine when I was first getting my license. It said from empty to full should not exceed 3 minutes. 2:30 is with in the test limit.

Just did the test from 85 to 100 takes 30 sec. I assume, I don't have to change the air dryer filter.
