Not saying I never used that train horn on some d-bag flying across 4 lanes of traffic to grab the exit 150ft behind us. Or on someone that decided they want to play the brake check game. This is about honking for kids, and what I described was the usual scenario for that. Guess I should have added the word "usually". My mistake. Believe it or not, I really do try to be a respectful driver. Try not to make a ton of obnoxious noise on purpose. Be a little more cautious about if I am in someone's way. My lack of respect tends to come out in other ways. Ask people who try to make me pull trailers that are about to break in half, and jerk me around with scheduling, and do one cheeked repairs to trucks. Ask those guys what they think of me.

I dont care what circumstance it is.. Little boy wants a honk im givin it. That one moment might be the thing that puts him on a coarse that doesnt involve a fentanyl overdose. When a bigrig pays attention to little man he feels like a king, like a big man. That big truck noticed me dad. I must be valuable.
