Air Horn gestures from little Kids (Keep tradition alive)

I don't do it either.

On the highway maybe. But not in the neighborhoods.

 

The "big" horn on my company truck is so wimpy it's embarrassing but if it's safe to do so I will pull it anyway just to not be a party pooper. Kids still get a kick out of it.

 

I get it alot from passing school buses , i never been able to find it inside me to pull it when ther are on the bus, with,my luck the bus driver would freak out and put it in the ditch.. Ifeel bad cuz i really want to especially when they got a big ol smile on their face and i watch that disappear as they drive away then i have guilt for the rest of the day

 

While driving, I only hit the horn if I am reasonably sure the driver knows the kid is trying to get me to. No need to scare the driver and possibly cause an accident or incite a road rage incident. Having said that, I do enjoy watching how excited little kids get at the sound of an air horn. Is it just me, or do air horns not sound as cool as they used to?

 

I’ll take a look at my surroundings first but then I’ll do it if it’s ok to do so. Stopped at a red light and some ladies did it in a small town. Rolled down my window said sorry can’t do it here lol

 

i had been to the Anderson window factory, and to get there, i had to drive on what i'd call, "main St. USA, with all pretty little houses, and well groomed lawns.

there was a kid on a Big Wheel trike, doing the arm wave..

but there was also a town ordinance sign about NO loud noises.

disapoint the kid, or get a ticket?

i chose to disapoint the kid.

and i too, never complied with arm waving anyone, let alone kids.

 

Pity the poor Volvo drivers. They have no air horn.

 

Is it ok to do the arm pump if your over 60? Asking for a friend.

 

I’m pretty sure going TOOT TOOT isn’t going to scare anyone. Just don’t lay on the horn like you’re about to hit someone.
