Air Horn gestures from little Kids (Keep tradition alive)

I never hit the air horn for kids. There have been thousands of unintended deaths when the driver doesn't know why you are honking and swerves off the road.

@Humblepie once blasted his city horn in California and was arrested due to a noise ordinance violation and unsafe operation. His dashcam proved he was safe because he was on Elogs, but he still spent 7 months in jail because of a backlogged court.

Woe to you air horn blasters!

 

Took me awhile to realize there was no pull cord in this Volvo.

Finally found the "air" horn.

Honked it once for a couple of kids.

The "WTF" looks on their faces mirrored how I felt.

I haven't used the "air" horn since....

 

Now you know why we won the war.

 

That’s why I only blow mine at every intersection.

when I own my own trucks leased to landstar up until 2011 and I had the Nathan air chimes on there the p3s I used to love cracking those train horns.. then I upgraded through a Leslie still have them sitting out there in the storage facility. will still blow those Leslie horns can hear almost quarter mile away..
having not driven at the time when I got into my first Volvo VN in 2010 I thought only Max didn't have an air horn chord LOL..
because the last time I had a air horn / electric loud horn not City horn until I got the Volvo was back when I work for the old jti Incorporated absorbed into US Express from 1992 to beginning a 1994 out of Seward Nebraska..
those ch600 Max at the time mine was a 88 it didn't have an air horn chord you had to push down just like on the Volvo to get the thing to blow I remember that well.. flash forward almost 20 years later get into the Volvo vn670 no air horn chord there it is just like the old Mack blast from the middle of the steering wheel.
nice little survey I did answer more than one cuz more than one that apply unfortunately now for the last eight years the one about I don't have an air horn to blow because I have a Volvo LOL

 

No it really happened. I was in corona making a delivery in a residential area. Some kids were riding bikes and I tooted my horn to let my presence be known. And there was a cop on the corner.

 

so, you spent 7 months IN JAIL due to a court backlog..??

what would you have gotten, if you kicked the cop in the nads..???

Well they lost my paper work. And I got in a fight with one of the shot callers for the bloods. So that is what the big hold up was.
