I think it is my dash valve. I hear air from it.

I'm with some of the others. You have a bad brake can. It's not the diaphragm blown, but rather a leak internally between the two chambers. I, like you, had a hell of a time trying to figure out what was going on.

Try this test. Charge the trailer line (push in the red knob,) and pull the blue gladhand. I bet if you hold your thumb on it you'll feel it build pressure. The easiest way to find it is the crimp the line to each can individually to figure out which one is leaking.

    BoxCarKidd and Shotgun94 Thank this.

You're a brave soul. I wouldn't trust most TA shops beyond verifying there were actually brake chambers on the trailer, and I'd still probably go look myself to verify. j/s

Well update, TA found nothing wrong with the trailer. They found the dash leaking air. So I changed it out myself but still same issue.
Maybe it is my trailer and TA didn't find it.

Please stop throwing money at it and perform the suggested tests that have been posted. There have been very good suggested tests that will solve your problem if you would take a few minutes to check and let others do the head scratching for you.

Problem has been fixed. Sorry on the late response but I wanted to make sure it was right b4 I posted.
So what happened. When I would set the trailer brakes and remove the red hose air is supposed to come out of that hose, the emergency line. Well air would come back out of the trailer. I know very very odd. The issue was a valve. Here are some images.

Now no air is lingering on the trailer brake when I release it. I mailed back park brake valve to velocity freightliner and hopefully they will send me a check back as I called them b4 i mailed it. Hope this helps
