    A couple of hundred new trucks over the years and not one every written up for it. Only time any have been written up for chaffing was when it had rubbed the rubber to a different color(as per CVSA).

    Did you ask to see the law that you were sighted for.....because I'm going to guess it doesn't exist. Cops make up crap all the time.

    Two airlines zip tied together is a problem. 393.45 (1)(B) Electrical zip tied to an air line isn't.

    Its not a problem until it chaffs the airline. Then it is a problem.

    I'll just stay with all the inspections we have had since ABS and zero write ups for chaffing with electrical zip tied to an airline.
