    Hi all,
I have 2011 Kenworth T800 that's making a air sucking noise when accelerating/ upshifting. Also noticing loss in power as well. Could it be problem with turbo or exhaust system? I can't get to shop right away, will I damage engine driving it? I just had in shop last week for CVIP and didn't realize that. Any help would be great! Thanks

Check for holes in the boots for the charge air cooler.

Ease off the throttle when you shift if you let up to fast it'll make that noise on older trucks

Might be able to hear it better now if you got air canisters in the sides of the truck instead of under the hood.

Thanks for the replies! I actually ended up taking it back to Kenworth today as I noticed they didn't grease truck when it got wet service done! So got them to also look at why/where sucking noise was coming from. The shop foreman notice that clamps on the positive air shutoff where not tightened up when they worked on it during the CVIP! So a lot of shoddy workmanship on their part. Running normal again thankfully!
